The Department and Role

Our client is offering you a great opportunity to join a wide financial team. These positions will see you working up to 38 hours per week. The roles will be working 5 days a week Monday to Friday. Temp opportunities that could get extended for the right candidates.

LOCATIONS: East Perth, CBD, Nedlands, Joondalup.

Our clients are ideally seeking applications from people who have worked in a similar role. It is essential that you have an eye for detail, can work at a fast pace and can interpret data to a high standard, and can hit the ground running!. Apply now to be contacted for more information.

Pay Bracket: $45-55 an hour + Super.

Role Duties:

  • Assisting with expenditure and revenue annual estimates, and annual budget submission preparation
  • Assisting budget management reporting including monitoring, analysing and reporting expenditure and revenue budget variations.
  • Calculation of termination, redundancies and other ad hoc payments
  • Preparing and Verifying the monthly accruals for salaries and benefits
  • Ensuring payroll queries are handled in a courteous and timely manner via phone and email
  • Payment summaries at the end of the financial year
  • Financial duties - accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, journals, BAS, end of month reports
  • Undertake financial processing and data entry such as Corporate Credit Cards.
  • Ad hoc tasks to support the finance team
  • Carrying out month end duties

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience in AR, AP, bookkeeping, invoicing etc.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently with strong organisational skills
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience in all Microsoft Office 365 applications
